Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0433216A1] In a weft-distributing device of a multiphase linear shed loom with air picking, the weft yarns are distributed by a yarn-feed means (31) to a plurality of weft channels (7) of a weaving rotor (4), in that the device has a fixed part (21) and a part (11) co-rotating with the weaving rotor, which possess in a rotationally symmetrical surface a common separating and sealing surface (20), via which the transfer of weft yarns (10) takes place. Each weft yarn supplied is transported by means of air via a feed nozzle (22) into a connecting channel (24) in the fixed part (21) and further to permanently assigned take-over channels (14) having adjoining picking tubes (12). Between the mouths (15) of the picking tubes (12) and the weft channels (7) aligned with them are positioned clamping and cutting devices (32) which sever the picked weft yarn (10). The weft tip newly obtained as a result of the cut is drawn back by means of the injector effect of the feed nozzle (22) and auxiliary nozzle (26) and is fed, via the connecting channel (24) and the newly opening take-over channel (14), to the following picking tube (12) assigned for blow-in. <IMAGE>
