[origin: WO9013996A1] The present invention provides a method for controlling weeds, e.g. plant growth, using a combination of a herbicide that is absorbed by the plant, together with the application of sound at a frequency of between 4 and 6 kilohertz at a volume of about 115 decibels to facilitate the uptake of the herbicide by the plant.
