An electrostatic powder coating installation having a coating booth through which the workpieces to be coated can be moved, is provided with a cleaning-off device which consists of a rack which can also be moved through the booth and is matched to the shape of the inner wall of the booth and of a bellows which can be attached to the outer frame of the rack and extended by means of compressed air and of a sponge attached to the side of the bellows facing the inner wall of the booth. The device is moved through the booth during pauses in coating, the sponge which is pressed against the inner wall of the booth by the inflated bellows wiping said inner wall off and thus freeing it of adhering powder residues. <IMAGE>

Eine elektrostatische Pulverbeschichtungsanlage mit einer Beschichtungskabine, durch welche die zu beschichtenden Werkstücke hindurchfahrbar sind, wird mit einer Abreinigungsvorrichtung versehen, die aus einem ebenfalls durch die Kabine hindurchfahrbaren, an die Form der Kabineninnenwand angepaßten Gestell, einem an dem Gestell-Außenrahmen (18) angebrachten, durch Druckluft ausfahrbaren Balgen (23) und einem an der der Kabineninnenwand zugewandten Seite des Balgs (23) befestigten Schwamm (21) besteht. Die Vorrichtung wird während Beschichtungspausen durch die Kabine hindurchgefahren, wobei der durch den aufgeblasenen Balg (23) gegen die Kabineninnenwand gedrückte Schwamm (21) diese abwischt, also von anhaftenden Pulverresten befreit. <IMAGE>
