[origin: JPH03226425A] PURPOSE: To fold a blank portion by curving a front wall of a pack on which a part of the blank, particularly the front wall of a collar set is attached in an arched manner temporarily, and shortening the effective length of a part of the blank. CONSTITUTION: An uncut connecting section 13 is folded into a Z-shape, and a collar 11 is folded over a pack blank 10. A front wall 12 is connected with a bottom wall 14, a rear wall 15, a rear wall 16, a ceiling wall 17 of a cover and a front wall 18 of the cover in the longitudinal direction of the pack blank 10. A horizontal tab 19 is moved together with a horizontal tab 21 of the cover, and a blank portion of a side section is fixed on the position forming the V- shape to the side wall of a cigarette block 26. The front wall 12 is folded to the upper face of the cigarette block 26 together with a horizontal tab 27 of the collar, and the horizontal tab 27 is inserted into a clearance. When the front wall 12 is folded on a folding line 29, the front wall 12 is deformed together with the collar 11 to shorten the effective length of the blank portion. The horizontal tab 27 of the collar can be inserted between a horizontal tab 21 of the cover and a content of the pack by shortening the effective length of the front wall 12.
