[origin: EP0433760A1] To avoid the exceptionally complicated cross-sections of the metal profiles used thus far of a doorframe, the L-shaped basic configuration of the metal profile (4) is extended rectilinearly into a T-profile cross-section. One half (wall half 5a) of the T-beam (5) is connected to the wall lining (17) and delimits it on the doorleaf side. The other half (soffit half 5b) of the T-beam (5) is connected to the soffit lining (16) and bears on its underside a wall strut (7).
