The subject of the present invention is a method for producing a non-developable shaped part from a sheet-metal blank (10), especially in order to make recessed edges, according to which a calculation is made, for each elementary surface of the sheet-metal blank (10), of the excess of material generated by the deformation on reducing the volume of corresponding sheet metal, at least one array of perforations (60, 70) is defined so as to remove, from each elementary volume, a quantity of material corresponding to the variation in elementary volume due to the modification of the original shape of the sheet-metal blank (10) in order to obtain the non-developable shaped part, the number, distribution, size, shape of the perforations (60, 70) are chosen, the said array of perforations (60, 70) is made in the sheet-metal blank (10) and the sheet-metal blank (10) is deformed, under a press, in order to obtain the final non-developable shaped part. <IMAGE>

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé d'élaboration d'une pièce de forme non développable à partir d'un flan de tôle (10), notamment pour réaliser des bords tombés, selon lequel on calcule pour chaque surface élémentaire du flan de tôle (10) l'excès de matière engendré par la déformation en rétreint du volume de tôle correspondante on définit au moins un réseau de perforations (60, 70) de façon à retirer, de chaque volume élémentaire, une quantité de matière correspondant à la variation de volume élémentaire due à la mofication de la forme d'origine du flan de tôle (10) pour l'obtention de la pièce de forme non développable, on choisit le nombre la répartition, la dimension, la forme des perforations (60, 70), on effectue sur le flan de tôle (10) ledit réseau de perforations (60, 70), et on déforme sous presse le flan de tôle (10) pour l'obtention de la pièce de forme non développable finale. <IMAGE>
