[origin: EP0434601A1] The invention is concerned with the production of non-twisted yarns from at least two fibril bundles. It provides intermediate process steps which are inserted between the main stages of the conventional production process for such yarns (spinning, drawing, texturing), in such a way that the mutual position of the individual fibril bundles, which is determined by the arrangement of the spinnerets, can be maintained throughout the entire process. A non-positively acting false-twist device for each individual fibril bundle, the intensity of which can be varied, makes it possible, furthermore, to vary in a reproducible manner the intermingling of the fibrils of the individual fibril bundles in their contact zones. <IMAGE>
