Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0434614A1] Device in which a travelling nut (8) moves on a threaded rod (10), one of these elements being driven in rotation by the electric motor to be controlled, the sliding nut actuating a switch (21) when it arrives at the end of its travel after a specified number of turns of the motor. The sliding nut (8) is integral in rotation with a second nut (12) intended to cooperate with a second threaded part (13) situated at the extremity of the first threaded part (10), of greater diameter than the diameter of the first threaded part and the pitch of the threading of which is substantially larger than the pitch of the threading of the first threaded part (10), so that when the second nut (12) engages with the second threaded part (13), it moves more quickly than the first nut and quickly comes to actuate the switch. This improvement enables the precision of the stopping of the motor to be enhanced independently of the magnitude of the pitch of the first threaded part, that is to say independently of the length of this threaded part, that is to say of the size of the device. <IMAGE>
