Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9003186A1] Monoclonal antibodies which bind to determinants defined by the lipid A portions of the cell wall lipopolysaccharides of E. coli Rc mutants and Salmonella Re mutants and neutralize Gram-negative bacterial endotoxin, and which are chromatographically separable into two fractions by ion exchange chromatography. Human IgM embodiments of the antibodies are exemplied. The antibodies are useful for treating bacteremia or sepsis by parenteral administration.
