[origin: WO9002509A1] The invention relates to a device for reheating meal trays standing by in a refrigerated housing, each tray being heated individually. The device is comprised of a heating support (5) receiving the trays of which an area remains always cold and of which an area is intended to reheat the plate (4). This heating support includes electric resistances (7) which are covered with a horizontal and insulating heat barrier (6). By introducing the tray (1), the thermal barrier is pushed by a buffer (10), which barrier is retracted in the heating support by compression of the springs (8) which, after removal of the tray, expand and reposition the thermal barrier to the resistances (7), thereby avoiding residual calories heating the plate to affect the refrigerated atmosphere of the housing. These residual calories are evacuated outside the housing through an orifice (9) from which the snug (11) of the heat barrier obstructing the orifice was released while the barrier was pushed by the tray (1).

Dispositif destiné à réchauffer des plateaux repas en attente dans une enceinte réfrigérée, et chaque plateau pouvant être chauffé individuellement. Il est constitué d'un support-chauffant (5) recevant les plateaux dont une zone reste toujours en froid et une zone dont le plat (4) est destiné à être réchauffé. Ce support-chauffant comporte des résistances électriques (7), qui sont recouvertes d'une barrière thermique (6) isolante et horizontale. En introduisant le plateau (1) la barrière thermique est poussée par un butoir (10), et elle vient s'escamoter dans le support-chauffant en comprimant des ressorts (8) qui une fois le plateau enlevé se détendent et reviennent positionner la barrière thermique sur les résistances (7), évitant ainsi aux calories résiduelles de la mise en chauffe du plat de nuire à l'ambiance réfrigérée de l'enceinte. Ces calories résiduelles sont évacuées hors de l'enceinte par un orifice (9) libéré de l'ergot (11) de la barrière thermique qui venait l'obstruer, lorsque celle-ci était poussée par le plateau (1).
