[origin: WO9002687A1] A method of filling and sealing a container (10) having a deformable bottom (12) with a product (34) having a volume less than the initial volume of the container, but equal to the volume of the final container with its bottom (12) deformed upward. The container is filled and a lid (26) is placed onto the container adjacent to a sealing surface (27). In its initial position enough headspace exists to permit the proper lid placement without squeezing product onto the sealing surface (27). The filled container with its unsealed lid (26) is placed on an anvil (30) in a vacuum chamber (38). The vacuum chamber (38) is vacuumized to a desired pressure and the lid (26) is sealed to the sealing surface (27) by sealing head (40). The container is then removed from the vacuum chamber (38). As a result of atmospheric pressure the bottom (12) is inverted upwardly thereby forcing the product (34) to fill the headspace voids.

L'invention concerne un procédé de remplissage et de fermeture hermétique d'un conteneur (10) ayant un fond déformable (12), le conteneur étant rempli d'un produit (34) ayant un volume inférieur au volume initial du conteneur mais égal au volume du conteneur final lorsque son fond (12) est déformé vers le haut. Le conteneur est rempli et un couvercle (26) est placé sur le conteneur adjacent à une surface de fermeture hermétique (27). Dans sa position initiale, l'espace en haut est suffisant pour permettre l'agencement approprié du couvercle sans écraser le produit sur la surface de fermeture hermétique (27). Le conteneur rempli avec son couvercle non scellé (26) est placé sur une enclume (30) dans une chambre à vide (38). On crée un vide dans la chambre à vide (38) à une pression désirée et le couvercle (26) est scellé sur la surface de fermeture hermétique (27) à l'aide d'une tête de scellement (40). Le conteneur est ensuite extrait de la chambre à vide (38). La pression atmosphérique provoque alors l'inversion vers le haut du fond (12) qui se galbe et force le produit (34) à remplir le vide constitué par l'espace se trouvant en haut.
