Abstract (en)

A structural member is assembled from a plurality of elongate elements (10, 13) each of which has one or more slots (11, 12) on at least one of its faces. The slotted faces are held in close proximity so that the slots (11, 12) therein are aligned and the aligned slots are filled with a hardenable material.
