Abstract (en)

At least one connecting pipe allows the combustion chamber of a first cylinder (1) to be connected to the pump housing (5') of a second cylinder (1'). The means for controlling the injection of carburetted air into the chamber of the first cylinder (1) comprise at least one flange (6') rigidly fixed to the axle of the crankshaft of the engine inside the pump housing (5') of the second cylinder. The flange (6') has a recess (16') on its peripheral section so that it is capable of isolating the pump housing (5') or connecting it to the internal volume of the combustion chamber at defined points in time in the engine cycle.

Au moins une canalisation de liaison permet de joindre la chambre de combustion d'un premier cylindre (1) au carter-pompe (5') d'un second cylindre (1'). Les moyens de commande de l'injection d'air carburé dans la chambre du premier cylindre (1) comportent au moins un flasque (6') fixé rigidement sur l'axe du vilebrequin du moteur à l'intérieur du carter-pompe (5') du second cylindre. Le flasque (6') comporte un évidement (16') sur sa partie périphérique de manière à pouvoir isoler le carter-pompe (5') ou à le mettre en communication avec le volume interne de la chambre de combustion à des instants déterminés du cycle du moteur.
