[origin: EP0435763A1] The apparatus, for payment by bankers card, comprises means (12) for reception of a bankers card (19), means (13) for reception of a bill (20), a printing drum (5,6) with rotating wheels, each carrying a series of characters and a moveable carriage (3) carrying a print roller (22). Each drum wheel is integral in rotation with a coding disk bearing a series of codes associated respectively with the characters of the wheel.
