[origin: EP0435771A1] The armoured turret for a light armoured vehicle according to the invention comprises, in a known way, at least one main weapon (2a, 2b, 2c) which is movable in elevation on a trunnion (3) placed in the front section of the turret. According to the invention it furthermore comprises, in a side position on the superstructure, a side weapon (5) carried by a cradle (9) which is movable in elevation on a fixed chassis (7) outside of the turret forming an upper fork for a hollow support arm (6) capable of receiving the units (16, 18) for transmitting the operating control of the said side weapon. <??>Application for increasing the fire power of existing or future turrets. <IMAGE>
