The invention concerns a bucket for an earth moving or excavation machine. A bucket comprises a central section (40) which comprises a curved bottom (2) comprising an inside metal sheet (7) and an outside metal sheet (7) and the said bucket comprises lateral sections (41) which are substantially symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal median plane of the said bucket and each of the said lateral sections comprises a curved lateral bottom which comprises an inside lateral metal sheet (43) and an outside lateral metal sheet (44) which are joined together by cross-pieces (45), (51).
