[origin: WO8912924A1] A brush holder for an electrical commutator machine has a brush plate (10) inside the casing of the machine and at least two brush attachments (11) secured on the brush plate (10) by a rivet (14), each of which can take one of the carbon brushes bearing on the commutator. An insulating plate (18) is arranged between the brush plate (10) and the brush attachment (11) and, on the opposite side, an insulating component (19) is arranged between the brush plate (10) and the rivet head (14b) to provide insulation between the components. The insulating component (19) bears an annular stem (25) surrounding a recess (23) and, fitting closely, passes through a corresponding aperture (17) in the brush plate (10) and a recess (21) in the insulating plate (18). The annular stem (25) surrounds a traction pin (12) in front of the brush attachment (11). The close fit of the annular stem (25) and the traction pin (12) on the one hand and of the annular stem (25) and the recess (21) in the insulating plate (18) and the aperture (17) in the brush plate (10) on the other ensures that the insulating component (19) secures the brush attachment (11) against rotation on the brush plate (10) as well as providing insulation.

Un porte-balai pour une machine à collecteur électrique comprend une plaque à balais (10) montée dans le logement de la machine à collecteur et au moins deux montures à balais (11) assujetties sur la plaque à balais (10) au moyen d'un tourillon rivé (14) et qui reçoivent chacune un des balais de charbon (28) appliqués au collecteur. Afin d'isoler la plaque à balais (10) des montures à balais (11), une plaque isolante (18) est montée entre les deux, et du côté opposé, entre la plaque à balais (10) et la tête de rivet (14b), est agencé un organe isolant (19). L'organe isolant (19) porte une bague (25) qui entoure un évidement (23) et qui traverse par liaison de forme un orifice débouchant (17) de la plaque à balais (10) et un évidement (21) de la plaque isolante (18). La bague (25) entoure un tenon (12) qui fait saillie sur la monture à balai (11). La liaison de forme entre la bague (25) et le tenon (12) d'une part et la bague (25), l'évidement (21) de la plaque isolante (18) et l'orifice débouchant (17) de la plaque à balais (10) d'autre part permet d'assurer non seulement l'isolation au moyen de l'organe isolant (19) mais aussi d'assujettir les montures à balais (11) sur la plaque à balais (10) de manière résistante aux torsions.
