[origin: DE3924647A1] A spreader unit for spreading granular material moistened with a liquid comprises a spreader plate (1) which rotates about a vertical axis. A non-moistened thawing agent is introduced onto the spreader plate (1) through a chute (10) with a channel-shaped bottom (11). Liquid for wetting the thawing agent is introduced through a pipe (12). The pipe (12) is arranged on the rear wall of the chute (10) and makes a slightly smaller angle than the chute (10) with the plane of the spreading plate. The mouth of the pipe (12) is located near the open end of the chute (10). The unpressurized liquid is introduced from below into the pipe containing the stream of dry thawing material before the latter reaches the spreader plate (1).
