[origin: EP0436051A1] An asphalt recycling apparatus (1) of small size, which is capable of reusing waste asphalt pieces as they are obtained from the work place of repairing underground piping or wiring is disclosed. This asphalt recycling apparatus (1) comprises a rotatable and tiltable combustion drum (3) supported on a frame (6) disposed in a casing (2), a front opening provided with a pair of doors (21A, 21B) and disposed on the front side of the casing (2) such that the opening coincides with the location of the top opening (3a) of the combustion drum (3), a cross member (7), one end of which is rotatably connected to one (21A) of the doors (21) and the other end of which is detachably connected to the other one (21B) of the doors, a burner-supporting member (70) fixed to the cross member (7) so as to direct the flame of a burner (8) to the top opening of the combustion drum (3), and a shoot door (22) disposed below the front opening and hinged to the casing (2) and capable of acting, when downwardly rotated, as a shoot for guiding a regenerated asphalt discharged from the combustion drum (3).
