[origin: EP0436210A2] A storage container for flammable liquids has a double-shell synthetic lining (15), whose inside surface (20) on its inside (20a) facing the interior (16) of the container (10) bears a carbon fibre fleece (22) which is anchored in the inner surface and reinforces the latter at the same time and serves as an electrostatic discharge for the container. As a result, the lining can be of double-shell construction, a monitoring space being present in the interior of the lining (15) which allows the tightness of the lining to be monitored.
