[origin: EP0436259A2] What is proposed is a coin-operated gaming machine which has a device for checking access authorisation to the interior of the coin-operated gaming machine. This device consists of at least one circuit, separate from the coin-operated gaming machine, for generating a permanently assigned identification code number, and of a device for comparing and recording the identification code number. If the circuit for generating the identification code number is not connected to the device for comparing and recording the identification code number after a predetermined time, an alarm signal is emitted. Otherwise, the identification code number is compared for identification purposes with that contained in the device for comparing and recording the identification code number. <IMAGE>
