Roll-changing devices used previously require replacement rolls, in which the adhesive tip is completely prepared, i.e. in which the adhesive for gluing the running web to the new roll has also been applied. In this case, the disadvantages are, on the one hand, the formation of a remaining tab when the old web is separated from the now running new web and, on the other hand, the time required for applying the adhesive, especially when the prepared roll cannot be used before the use-by date of the adhesive and therefore renewed adhesive tip preparation is required. <??>The roll-changing device according to the invention has an adhesive application device (6) which is arranged such that it applies an adhesive to be applied to the web (10) of the partially unwound roll (2). Bisher verwendete Rollenwechselvorrichtungen benötigen Ersatzrollen, bei denen die Klebespitze vollständig vorbereitet ist, d.h., bei denen auch das Klebemittel zum Ankleben der ablaufenden Bahn an die neue Rolle aufgetragen ist. Nachteilig ist dabei zum einen die Bildung einer Restfahne beim Abtrennen der alten Bahn von der nunmehr ablaufenden neuen Bahn und zum anderen der zeitliche Aufwand zum Auftragen des Klebemittels, insbesondere dann, wenn die vorbereitete Rolle nicht innerhalb der Klebemittelverwendungszeit verwendet werden kann und daher eine erneute Klebespitzenvorbereitung erforderlich wird. Die erfindungsgemäße Rollenwechselvorrichtung weist eine Klebemittelauftragvorrichtung (6) auf, die so angeordnet ist, daß sie ein aufzubringendes Klebemittel auf die Bahn (10) der in Abwicklung befindlichen Rolle (2) aufbringt. Ferner ist ein in einer Bahnandrück- und Trennvorrichtung (5) der Rollenwechselvorrichtung enthaltenes Messer (12) so angeordnet, daß nach Trennen der restlichen Bahn der ersten Rolle von der nunmehr ablaufenden zweiten Rolle keine Restfahne verbleibt. Die Erfindung ist auf alle Rollenwechselvorrichtungen anwendbar. <IMAGE>
