Abstract (en)
A process for extracting contaminants out of natural cellulose in the form of linters, flocks or yarn in the form of warp beams or cross wound packages. The material is impregnated with a treatment liq contg lye or acid and possibly other chemical. Evapn follows in a closed kettle. After its insertion into the kettle, the material to be treated is evacuated and the treatment liq flows into the material subsequently. The liquor ratio is kept below 1:3. Satd steam flows through the prod until the overpressure in the kettle reaches max 8 bar. The material is kept at the reached pressure for 1-5 mins before the pressure of the kettle is dropped and the washing process is initiated.

Zur Extraktion der Verunreinigungen natürlicher Zellulose, zum Bleichen natürlicher Zellulose sowie zum gezielten Abbau des Polymerisationsgrades natürlicher Zellulose wird das vorzugsweise trockene Behandlungsgut nach dem Einsetzen in einen Kessel evakuiert. Anschließend läßt man die Behandlungsflüssigkeit - je nach Rezeptur entweder (Natron-) Lauge oder (Essig-) Säure und gegebenenfalls weitere Chemikalien - in das Behandlungsgut strömen, wobei ein Flottenverhältnis zwischen 0,5 : 1 und 1 : 3 eingehalten wird. Daraufhin läßt man Sattdampf durch das imprägnierte Behandlungsgut strömen, bis im Kessel ein Behandlungsdruck von maximal 8 bar erreicht ist. Unter diesem Behandlungsdruck wird das Behandlungsgut für ca. 1 bis 5 Minuten gehalten. Nach dem Entspannen des Kessels wird das Behandlungsgut heiß ausgewaschen. Bei Bedarf können die Behandlungsschritte wiederholt werden, gegebenenfalls unter Verwendung von Behandlungsflüssigkeiten unterschiedlicher Rezeptur.
