[origin: EP0436938A2] A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler, characterized in that the photographic material contains at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I) and at least one yellow colored cyan coupler: <MATH> wherein A represents a coupler moiety which is released from (TIME)n-B by a coupling reaction with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; TIME represents a timing group which is bonded to the active coupling site of A and which releases B after release from A by the coupling reaction; B represents a group represented by the following general formulas (IIa), (IIb), (IIc), (IId), (IIe), (IIf), (IIg), (IIh), (IIi), (IIj), (IIk), (II l ), (IIm), (IIn), (IIo) or (IIp); and n represents 0 or 1 and when n is 0, B is directly bonded to A: <CHEM> <CHEM> <CHEM> <CHEM> wherein X1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aliphatic group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a substituted phenyl group; X2 represents a hydrogen atom, an aliphatic group, a halogen atom, a hydroxyl group, an alkoxy group, an alkylthio group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an acylamino group, a carbamoyl group, a sulfonyl group, a sulfonamido group, a sulfamoyl group, an acyloxy group, a ureido group, a cyano group, a nitro group, an amino group, an alkoxycarbonylamino group, an aryloxy carbonyl group, or an acyl group; X3 represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or an imino group having not more than 4 carbon atoms; m represents ban integer of 1 or 2; the total of carbon atoms in X2 or (X2)m groups is not more than 8; and when m is 2, the two X2 groups may be the same or different groups.
