[origin: WO9006009A1] In high-voltage installations with metal casing and compressed gas insulation, housings (1, 7) whose longitudinal axes are mutually inclined must often be interconnected via an intermediate piece (8). An intermediate piece (8) consists of two rings (19, 20) whose front faces are in contact. Each ring has holes (22, 32, 23, 33) on an inner (21) and an outer (31) graduated circle. The two rings are connected to the flange (9, 10) of one of the housings (1, 7) at their respective graduated circles (21) and to each other at their respective outer graduated circles (31). On one ring (20), the holes (32) on the outer graduated circle (31) are elongated holes (32) whose length is equal to half the spacing between the holes $g(b)a2?. The spacing between the holes on the outer graduated circle (31) of the other ring (19) is equal to half $g(b)a2? or is equal to $g(b)a2? when the gas seals are located only on the ring (20) with the elongated holes (32). The intermediate piece (8) makes it possible to set the angles between the longitudinal axes to any value.

L'élément intermédiaire (8) consiste en deux anneaux (19, 20) dont les parties frontales sont accolées et qui comportent des alésages (22, 32, 23, 33) sur leurs cercles gradués interne (21) et externe (31), respectivement, et qui sont reliés à la fois, par leur cercle gradué interne (21), avec la bride (9, 10) de l'une des cuirasses (1, 7) et, par leur cercle gradué externe (31), l'un à l'autre. Sur l'un des anneaux (20), les alésages (32) du cercle gradué externe (31) ont la forme d'orifices allongés (32) dont la longueur correspond à la moitié de l'espace betaa2 entre les orifices. L'espace entre les orifices du cercle gradué externe (31) de l'autre anneau (19) est alors la moitié de betaa2 ou est égal à betaa2 lorsque les éléments d'étanchéification par gaz ne se trouvent que sur l'anneau (20) avec les orifices allongés (32).
