[origin: WO9003463A1] A slider needle for knitting machines has a needle body (1) with a hook (2), a slider (3) arranged to move in the needle body (1) and a swinging member articulated on the needle body (1) behind the hook (2). To avoid excessive travel when forming a stitch and to ensure the separation between the old stitch and the strand newly fed in, there is a spring (10) in the needle body which causes the swinging member (4) to move away from the hook (2) so that one lateral edge (7) of the swinging member (4) is almost vertical.

Une aiguille coulissante pour machines à tricoter présente un élément de base formant le corps (1) de l'aiguille, comportant un crochet (2), une barrette (3) montée coulissante dans le corps (1) et un élément pivotant articulé sur ledit corps (1), à l'arrière du crochet (2). Pour obtenir de plus petits parcours d'expulsion lors de la formation des mailles et une meilleure séparation de l'ancienne maille et du fil introduit, on a prévu dans le corps (1) un ressort (10) qui fait pivoter l'élément pivotant (4) en direction du crochet (2), de telle façon qu'une arête latérale (7) dudit élément pivotant (4) est approximativement verticale.
