Liquid ring pump (1), - in which a ring of operating fluid circulates through an impeller wheel in a housing, which ring on the induction side lifts from the impeller wheel hub so that feed gas can enter and on the pressure side approaches the impeller wheel hub, as a result of which compressed feed gas can be expelled, - which functions with a downstream-connected separator (2) for the recycling of operating fluid, the return line (3) from which separator is led through a heat exchanger (4) for cooling the operating fluid down. According to the invention it is provided that the cooling output of the heat exchanger (4) be regulated as a function of a level sensor (6) for the condensate of the separator (2) in such a way that as the level of condensate drops the cooling output is increased and as the level of condensate rises the cooling output is reduced. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Flüssigkeitsringpumpe (1), - in der durch ein Laufrad in einem Gehäuse ein Flüssigkeitsring aus Betriebsflüssigkeit umläuft, der sich auf der Saugseite von der Laufradnabe abhebt, so daß Fördergas eintreten kann und auf der Druckseite der Laufradnabe annähert, wodurch verdichtetes Fördergas ausgeschoben werden kann, - die mit einem nachgeschalteten Separator (2) zur Rückgewinnung von Betriebsflüssigkeit arbeitet, dessen Rücklaufleitung (3) durch einen Wärmetauscher (4) zum Herunterkühlen der Betriebsflüssigkeit geführt ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, daß der Wärmetauscher (4) in seiner Kühlleistung in Abhängigkeit von einem Niveausensor (6) am Kondensat des Separators (2) derart geregelt wird, daß bei sinkendem Kondensatstand die Kühlleistung erhöht und bei steigendem Kondensatstand die Kühlleistung verringert wird.
