[origin: EP0437644A1] An article delivery system for a vending machine is provided. The article delivery system contains an endless element rotating round two spaced deflecting rollers, a plurality of spaced drivers fastened to the endless band and intended for receiving individual article packs in the driver interspaces, and a drive for the endless element, during the activation of which the endless element rotates over a predetermined transport distance corresponding to the spacing between two adjacent drivers. To allow a constant refilling of the driver interspaces which become free, there is arranged above the endless element a downwardly open shaft, the front and rear transverse walls of which terminate at a short distance above the drivers moved away underneath. <IMAGE>
