Metallic roof as well as a method for its construction and fixing device (40) related thereto, which connects adjacent roofing slabs (14) to one another by means of a watertight standing seam (75, 81). The fixing device (42) consists of an anchor plate (38) and a holding element (36) which embraces an offset part (50) of the anchor plate (38) in sliding fashion. The slidable connection is achieved by deformation of a U-shaped base part (57) of the holding element (36) which encloses between it on two sides the cranked part (50) of the anchor plate (38), in such a way that the anchor plate (38) cannot be deformed during transportation, assembly or use, whereas it simultaneously stiffens the assembled part such that the holding element (36) securely holds the roofing panels (14) with a folded-seam joint. <IMAGE>

Metalldach sowie Verfahren zu seiner Herstellung und Befestigungsvorrichtung (40) hierfür, welche benachbarte Dachplatten (14) durch einen wasserdichten Stehfalz (75, 81) miteinander verbindet. Die Befestigungsvorrichtung (42) besteht aus einer Ankerplatte (38) und einem Halteelement (36), das einen versetzten Teil (50) der Ankerplatte (38) gleitend umfaßt. Die verschiebliche Verbindung wird durch Verformung eines U-förmigen Basisteiles (57) des Halteelementes (36) erreicht, welche den verkröpften Teil (50) der Ankerplatte (38) auf zwei Seiten zwischen sich einschließt, derart, daß die Ankerplatte (38) beim Transport, bei der Montage oder im Gebrauch nicht verformt werden kann, während sie gleichzeitig das zusammengebaute Teil so versteift, daß das Halteelement (36) die Dachpaneele (14) mit einer Falzverbindung sicher festhält. <IMAGE>
