The invention relates to a drum washing machine having a tub (1) for receiving the washing liquor, a fresh-water supply (6), a washing-agent feed device (7) and a delivery line (5) to the tub, a venting device (11) for the tub and a device for preventing the flow-off of the detergent during the washing operation. According to the invention, the drum washing machine is equipped with a device (12) for generating compressed air. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Trommelwaschmaschine mit einem Laugenbehälter (1) zur Aufnahme der Waschflotte, mit einer Frischwasserzuführung (6), einer Waschmitteleinspülvorrichtung (7) sowie einer Zuleitung (5) zum Laugenbehälter, mit einer Entlüftungsvorrichtung (11) für den Laugenbehälter und mit einer Vorrichtung zur Verhinderung des Waschlaugenabflusses während des Waschvorgangs. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Trommelwaschmaschine mit einer Vorrichtung (12) zur Erzeugung von Druckluft ausgestattet. Zur Entleerung des Laugenbehälters wird die Druckluft über eine Zuleitung (11) in denselben gepumpt. <IMAGE>
