A colour-photographic recording material having at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and, associated therewith, a diffusion-resistant yellow coupler of the formula <IMAGE> in which Y is an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical, X is a hydrogen atom or a group which can be eliminated on colour coupling, R<1> is an alkyl radical having 1 to 20 C atoms and R<2> is an alkyl radical having 1 to 20 C atoms, the alkyl radicals R<1> and R<2> together having at least 12 C atoms, the yellow coupler being dissolved in a liquid compound containing ester groups and having a molecular weight of at least 350, gives a yellow dyestuff which has a high colour density, is particularly light-fast, resistant to dark fading and stable under tropical conditions and produces less casting faults, even in a high-speed process (development in less than 60 seconds).

Ein farbfotografisches Aufzeichnungsmaterial mit mindestens einer lichtempfindlichen Silberhalogenidemulsionsschicht und einem dieser zugeordneten diffusionsfesten Gelbkuppler der Formel <IMAGE> worin Y: einen aliphatischen oder cycloaliphatischen Rest, X: ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine bei Farbkupplung abspaltbare Gruppe, R¹: einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 20 C-Atomen, R²: einen Alkylrest mit 1 bis 20 C-Atomen, bedeuten, wobei die Alkylreste R¹ und R² zusammen wenigstens 12 C-Atome aufweisen, der in einer flüssigen, estergruppenhaltigen Verbindung mit einem Molekulargewicht von wenigstens 350 gelöst ist, ergibt auch in einem Schnellprozeß (Entwicklung in weniger als 60 Sekunden) einen Gelbfarbstoff in hoher Farbdichte, der besonders lichtecht, darkfading- und tropenstabil ist und weniger Gießfehler erzeugt.
