[origin: EP0437818A2] A colour-photographic recording material having at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and, associated therewith, a diffusion-resistant yellow coupler of the formula <IMAGE> in which Y is an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic radical, X is a hydrogen atom or a group which can be eliminated on colour coupling, R<1> is an alkyl radical having 1 to 20 C atoms and R<2> is an alkyl radical having 1 to 20 C atoms, the alkyl radicals R<1> and R<2> together having at least 12 C atoms, the yellow coupler being dissolved in a liquid compound containing ester groups and having a molecular weight of at least 350, gives a yellow dyestuff which has a high colour density, is particularly light-fast, resistant to dark fading and stable under tropical conditions and produces less casting faults, even in a high-speed process (development in less than 60 seconds).
