[origin: EP0437994A1] The invention relates to a modular structure for the construction of prefabricated buildings based on beams made from glued and laminated timber (plywood). According to the invention, the various beams have traversing fastening means enabling them to be fixed at an angle. These fasteners (8) have the shape of an angle bracket whose flange (11) at the end of the crosspiece (3) is separated from the latter in order to enable a linking member (12) to be inserted. Moreover, an L-profile (6) is fixed by means of traversing studs (7) to the columns (5) which interact with the angle bracket (8) in order to fix the elements. The invention is of interest to the prefabricated-building industry. <IMAGE>
