[origin: EP0438046A1] The invention relates to a corner joining piece for fixed frames, door or window jambs, which are made up of a plurality of profile parts (20, 21) and which exhibit in the region of the joint guide surfaces which extend beyond them in places and match corresponding guide surfaces of the other profile part, so that the position of the two profile parts (20, 21) relative to one another is determined. At least one projection (11, 13) is provided on each profile part; matching projections are moved towards one another by twisting a clamping disc (14) and held in their final position. The invention is characterised in that, as known per se, pairs of projections (11, 13) are clamped together, that the projections are undercut on the side turned away from the joint and that the clamping disc (14) exhibits an oval recess (15), whose shortest diameter is smaller than the shortest distance between the undercuts of the two projections (11, 13) in the assembled state and whose largest diameter is greater than the largest distance between the projections in the assembled state. <IMAGE>
