The invention relates to a portable case for files which has a cap-type lid (2) which is fitted with a carrying handle and can be brought into a captive engagement position with the bottom part (1) of the case. To achieve a constructional shape which is simple in terms of construction and more advantageous in use, it is proposed that a hinged handle (3) grips with holding projections (21) below counter-projections (22) of the bottom part of the case in the upright position. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Registatur-Tragkoffer mit kappenförmigem Deckel (2), der mit einem Traggriff ausgestattet ist und der in Fesselungs-Eingriffsstellung zum Kofferunterteil (1) bringbar ist und schlägt zur Erzielung einer baulich einfachen, gebrauchsvorteilhafteren Bauform vor, daß ein Klappgriff (3) in Aufrechtstellung mit Haltenasen (21) Gegennasen (22) des Kofferunterteils untergreift. <IMAGE>
