The invention relates to an apparatus for cutting stacked material (9) in sheet form, having a table surface (2) which comprises a working area (2b), above which are situated a cutting knife (4) and a pressing beam (3), an entrance area (2a), behind said working area, for receiving the material to be cut and an exit area (2c), in front of said working area, for receiving the cut material, having a feed unit (5) for the material to be cut, which feed unit has in its foremost position teeth engaging in grooves (8) of the pressing beam, and having a lateral stop (14) for aligning the material to be cut by means of a pusher (10) movable in the region of the working area towards the cutting line (4a). According to the invention, it is proposed that the feed device extend substantially over the entire width of the table surface and the pusher be capable of acting exclusively in the region of the working area formed between the cutting plane and the foremost position of the feed device. The apparatus thus permits alignment of the material to be cut in the immediate vicinity of the cutting plane. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Schneiden von gestapeltem, blattförmigem Gut (9), mit einer Tischfläche (2), die ein Arbeitsfeld (2b), über dem sich ein Schneidmesser (4) und ein Preßbalken (3) befinden, dahinter ein Eingangsfeld (2a) zur Aufnahme des zu schneidenden Gutes und davor ein Ausgangsfeld (2c) zur Aufnahme des geschnittenen Gutes aufweist, mit einer Vorschubeinrichtung (5) für das zu schneidende Gut, die in deren vorderster Stellung in Nuten (8) des Preßbalkens eingreifende Zähne aufweist, sowie mit einem Seitenanschlag (14) zum Ausrichten des zu schneidenden Gutes mittels eines im Bereich des Arbeitsfeldes in Richtung der Schnittlinie (4a) bewegbaren Andruckschiebers (10). Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, daß sich die Vorschubeinrichtung im wesentlichen über die gesamte Breite der Tischfläche erstreckt und der Andruckschieber ausschließlich in dem zwischen der Schneidebene und der vordersten Stellung der Vorschubeinrichtung gebildeten Bereich des Arbeitsfeldes wirksam ist. Die Vorrichtung ermöglicht damit das Ausrichten des zu schneidenden Gutes in unmittelbarer Nähe der Schneidebene. <IMAGE>
