[origin: DE4001587C1] The cigarette packing machine includes a cigarette feed magazine (1) which forms cigarette blocks in pockets (2) on a conveyor belt (3). A transfer rotor (5) places the cigarette blocks into axially open pockets (7) on the wrapping rotor (6). An axially offset rotor (22) includes pusher elements (23) which transfer the blocks into pockets (8) on a second rotor (9) where the wrapping ends are folded. A third rotor (10) provides the required dwell time for the glue to dry, before the finished packets are unloaded onto a linear exit conveyor belt.
