In this arrangement, a predeterminable position of the safety-switch element (37; 47) is a prerequisite for activation of the control member (30 or 32) for the state "free-fall operation". In particular, a safety-switch element (47) is allocated to an actuating system (42, 43, 44, 45, 46) for the rotary mechanism of the drilling device and/or to an actuating system for the travelling mechanism of the drilling device. <IMAGE>
