Abstract (en)

A heat-sensitive recording material comprises a support bearing at least a heat-sensitive recording layer comprising a binder, a color former and a developer. The heat-sensitive recording layer and/or a layer adjacent thereto contains at least one succinic compound. The recording material has high sensitivity and is resistant to background fogging even after storage at high temperature.
