[origin: US5198974A] Safety device for motorized rolling shutter comprising a generator of a signal representing the displacement of the rolling shutter and a logic processing unit (10) capable of working in learning mode and in operating mode for recording and processing signal samples and for comparing the values obtained in operating mode with the values obtained in learning mode in order to control the stopping of the motor (5) of the rolling shutter when there is an obstacle and for providing, if necessary, other functions such as the automatic stopping in the high position and in the low position, or the triggering of an alarm. The generator comprises a pulley on which is wound a flexible element (9) whose other end is connected to the end (8) of the rolling shutter, such that the unrolling of the rolling shutter (1) drives the pulley whose axis is mechanically connected to a signal generator, for example a synchronous motor.

Dispositif de sécurité pour volet roulant motorisé comprenant un générateur de signal (7) engendrant un signal représentatif du déplacement du volet roulant (1) et une unité logique de traitement (10) apte à travailler en mode apprentissage et en mode utilisation pour enregistrer et traiter des échantillons de signal et comparer les valeurs obtenues en mode utilisation aux valeurs obtenues en mode apprentissage pour commander l'arrêt du moteur (5) du volet roulant en cas d'obstacle et pour assurer, le cas échéant, d'autres fonctions telles qu'arrêt automatique en position haute et basse, ou déclencher une alarme.
