[origin: WO9004570A1] The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of magnetic particles of hexaferrites of baryum or strontium. The method consists in coprecipitating iron salt or baryum or strontium salt, in filtering and neutralizing such coprecipitate, and in washing with a solution of baryum salt or strontium salt having a concentration comprised between 2 x 10?-3 and 0.2 M. Application for producing magnetic particles of hexaferrites of baryum or strontium having a good dispersability and improved magnetic properties.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de particules magnétiques d'hexaferrites de baryum ou de strontium. Le procédé consiste à faire coprécipiter un sel de fer et un sel de baryum ou de strontium, à filtrer et neutraliser ce coprécipité, et à le laver avec une solution d'un sel de baryum ou de strontium ayant une concentration comprise entre 2 x 10-3 et 0,2 M. Application à l'obtention de particules magnétiques d'hexaferrites de baryum ou de strontium ayant une bonne dispersabilité et des propriétés magnétiques améliorées.
