[origin: WO9011803A1] A therapeutic and sports device with a frame consisting of four mutually hinged components, where the lower part of the frame is carried so as to be movable on a stand via a joint between its front and rear end, and of two spaced parallel cross-members between which a crankshaft (46) rotating with the drive wheel (48) is carried on one side on a web of the crankshaft and on the other on the stand (28) at or near the point at which the angles between the two extreme positions of the lower part of the frame (14) and between the two dead centres of the connecting rod are the same, i.e. angle alpha = angle beta .

Appareil d'exercice sportif et médical comportant un cadre consistant en quatre parties articulées les unes par rapport aux autres. La partie inférieure du cadre est supportée de manière mobile sur un pied par l'intermédiaire d'une articulation agencée entre sa partie antérieure et sa partie postérieure et consiste en deux traverses agencées à une certaine distance l'une de l'autre. Un vilebrequin (46) relié de manière solidaire en rotation avec la roue d'entraînement (48) est agencé entre les deux traverses; il est supporté d'une part par une coudure qu'il comporte, d'autre part sur le pied (28), à l'endroit ou à proximité de l'endroit où les angles entre les deux positions extrêmes de la partie inférieure du cadre (14) et entre les deux positions de point mort de la bielle sont égaux, donc où les angles alpha = beta.
