Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9102880A1] The subject of the main application P 38 42 081.3 is a drill, especially for shot holes, with a hydraulically actuated intra-hole hammer arranged on the front end of the drill spindle. The drive (2) for the drill spindle exerts a to-and-fro oscillatory action upon it with an angle of oscillation of preferably 180 - 360 DEG . The drill rods (7) are fitted with two longitudinal channels opening outwards to take hydraulic hoses (10, 11) for the supply and return of the pressure oil for the intra-hole hammer and a compressed air line. In addition there is a hose insertion and removal device (9) which is secured on the carriage slide (1) and connected directly or indirectly to the drive (2). In a further embodiment of the object as claimed in the main claim, especially as the torque of the oscillating drive may be transmitted to the drilling spindle without any special shaping of the rods forming the drilling spindle and/or without any additional clamping devices, the invention proposes that the flushing head (8), the hose insertion and removal device (9) and the drive member (6) of the oscillating drive (2) should form a drive unit pivoted on the carriage slide (1) and the flushing head (8) is pivoted in the drive unit around a spindle (15) running transversely to the longitudinal axis of the drilling rods (7) and has a recess (18) in its connecting region for the drilling rod ends (19) the shape of which is so matched to the insertion ends (19) of the drilling rods (7) that the torque is transmitted to the drill rods (7) by interlocking.
