[origin: EP0439681A1] Device for regulating a stopper (56) of a distributing launder or of a metallurgical vessel (57) in a continuous (billet or ingot) casting machine, the plug (56) being connected to a cross member or plug lug (22), which is arranged above the distributing launder or the metallurgical vessel and, for its part, is connected to a supporting bar which can be moved up and down in a vertical guideway. The vertical guideway of the supporting bar (square portion 1) is a roller guideway with supporting rollers (10') or balls (10') held without slip between the supporting bar and an outer housing (2,3,7).
