Abstract (en)

For lighting, particularly in glass horticulture, assimilation lighting is applied to improve the quality the crop. In order to obtain the most regular possible progression of the light output, which is expressed in the polar diagram, a reflector is used according to the invention. The reflector (1) has a central lengthwise plane where the lighting element is placed, while relief surfaces (3,4,5) are arranged on either side of planes of symmetry passing through the centre point of the reflector (1). It has been found in practice that the polar diagram is improved as a result of the relief surfaces (3,4,5). <IMAGE>
