[origin: US5224143A] The invention relates to X-ray tubes. The cathode for an X-ray tube has two filaments associated with a deflecting and focusing device which comprises at least three metal parts which are electrically insulated from one another and which are raised to electrical voltages. First and second ones of the metal, parts are associated with a first filament, while the second metal part and a third metal part are associated with the second filament.

L'invention concerne les tubes à rayons X. La cathode (20) pour tube à rayons X comporte deux filaments (22,23) associés à un dispositif de concentration et de déflexion (24) qui comprend au moins trois pièces métalliques (25,26,27) isolées électriquement l'une de l'autre et portées à des potentiels électriques, une première (25) et une deuxième (26) pièces métalliques étant associées à un premier filament (22) tandis que ladite deuxième pièce métallique (26) et une troisième pièce métallique (27) sont associées au deuxième filament (23). <IMAGE>
