[origin: EP0440830A1] A flat-roof pantile has side-groove ribs (9, 10, 24), running in a straight line over the full height to the tile foot, on a plane side-groove section (11) for a double side interlocking joint (2), a tile middle section (1), at least one covering bead (7), an outer head-groove rib (12) running continuously over the width of the tile including a narrow head-corner cutout (4), an outer foot-groove rib (19) running continuously at least up to a narrow foot-corner cutout (5), and an inner foot-groove rib (20). In order to maintain, in such a flat-roof pantile, maximum longitudinal displaceability with complete sealing in the roofing, even for flat roofs of extremely low pitch, the side-groove section (2), which is open towards the tile foot and in the tile-head region towards the tile middle section (1), is arranged so as to be raised relative to the tile middle section (1), an inner head-groove rib (14) capable of being overlapped by the inner foot-groove rib (20) and having at least one perforation (15) is provided, and the outer foot-groove rib is passed round the foot-corner cutout (5) to the tile side edge. <IMAGE>
