A knife (1) with sheath (2) into which at least the blade (11) of the knife (1) can be lowered, a shearing plate (3) being attached to a base plate (22) which is provided on the sheath (2) and has a lateral recess (23), which shearing plate possesses, on one side, a nose-like recess (33) lying above the recess (23) of the base plate (22) and on which is arranged a bolt (30, 31) of T-shaped design, the blade (11) possessing at least one shearing edge (13) and there being provided in the blade (11) furthermore and opening (17) through which the bolt (30, 31) can be passed, is characterised in that the recess (23) of the base plate (22) is of U-shaped design and is substantially congruent in its deepest region (41) with the deepest region (38) of the nose-like recess (33), while in the region of a projection (34) formed below the nose-like recess (33) it recedes behind said projection. <IMAGE>

Ein Messer (1) mit Tülle (2), in die wenigstens die Klinge (11) des Messers (1) versenkbar ist, wobei auf einem an der Tülle (2) vorgesehenen Sockelkörper (22) mit einer seitlichen Ausnehmung (23) eine Scherplatte (3) angebracht ist, welche an einer Seite eine über der Ausnehmung (23) des Sockelkörpers (22) liegende nasenartige Ausnehmung (33) aufweist und auf welcher ein T-förmig ausgebildeter Bolzen (30,31) angeordnet ist, wobei die Klinge (11) wenigstens eine Scherschneide (13) aufweist und wobei in der Klinge (11) weiterhin eine Öffnung (17) vorgesehen ist, durch welche der Bolzen (30,31) führbar ist, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ausnehmung (23) des Sockelkörpers (22) U-förmig ausgebildet ist und in ihrem tiefsten Bereich (41) dem tiefsten Bereich (38) der nasenartigen Ausnehmung (33) im wesentlichen kongruent ist, während sie im Bereich eines unterhalb der nasenartigen Ausnehmung (33) gebildeten Vorsprungs (34) hinter diesen zurücktritt.
