[origin: CA2035787A1] 23843-230 A refractory discharge arrangement comprises an immersion discharge tube (1) and a separate outer sheathing (5) which is fastened to the discharge tube and which, during operation, is positioned in the area of the casting powder layer of a molten steel. A longer service life is achieved in that the outer sheathing (5) consists of zirconium oxide which is free from carbon and is bonded directly by burning or firing at a high temperature, and the immersion discharge tube (1) consists essentially of carbon-bonded magnesium oxide or also of carbon-bonded aluminium oxide or vitreous fused silica.

Eine feuerfeste Ausgußvorrichtung weist einen Eintauchausguß (1) und eine an diesem festgelegte, separate Außenbewehrung (5) auf, welche im Betrieb im Gießpulverbereich einer Stahlschmelze liegt. Eine verlängerte Standzeit ist dadurch erreicht, daß die Außenbewehrung (5) aus einem Zirkonoxid besteht, das kohlenstoffrei durch Brennen bei hoher Temperatur direktgebunden ist, und der Eintauchausguß (1) im wesentlichen aus kohlenstoffgebundenem Magnesiumoxid oder auch aus kohlenstoffgebundenem Aluminiumoxid oder Quarzgut besteht. <IMAGE>
