[origin: EP0440909A1] The invention relates to a holder for tools, preferably spanners, having a plurality of receiving channels (4), running mutually parallel, for in each case one shaft of a tool. To develop a tool-holder of the type described at the beginning in such a way that it can be manufactured inexpensively, produces a compulsory order of the tools to be received in each case in the holder and is also suitable for wall mounting, the invention proposes that each receiving channel (4) have two rigid guide walls which run at a distance from one another exceeding the shaft thickness of the tool to be received in each case, and that a spring (6), which presses the shaft of the respective tool against the opposite guide wall, be arranged in at least one recess (7) in at least one of the two guide walls.
